Our Interlibrary Loan program has changed. The van service has been cancelled indefinitely. We will still be able to get some titles. Unfortunately this week we had to cancel Story Hour. We hope to see everyone next week.

For this month’s display cabinet we have a collection of Elephants. Come have a peak our display cabinet is packed full!

This past week at story hour we had 5 adults and 6 kids. Please come join us for the our Thursday 10:30 am story hour. We look forward to seeing you!

This summer we are running two reading programs. Starting June 17th we will have our annual summer program This years program the children will be getting a prize for every 5 picture books or easy readers and for every non fiction or chapter book they get a prize. The second program is for the adults.

This week at story hour we read books about spring time and being outside. This week’s books were: Bear Wants More; North Country Spring; Fletcher and the Springtime Blossoms; and Mud Makes Me Dance.

There are a few plants left for our plants for donations. That’s right the plants do not have a set price they are for donations. The plants are located right near the book box. Hope to see the rest of them go to good homes.

This week Heidi did story hour. The children sang “The More We Get Together” and “Open Shut Them”. We had great books by the author Sandra Boynton; Doggies (which was a counting and barking book), Dinosnores and Dinosaur Dance. To close out Story Hour the 8 kids colored pickers of piggies. There is now a mini library located at the Limington Municipal building near the ball fields. Its always available and completely free!

This week at Story hour we had 9 children attend. They sang songs and read a few books one of them was called “Hoot”. The story hour ended with the children making book marks using inkpads and animal stamps.
