Pumpkins were the theme of the week for story hour. We read The Pumpkin Patch by Margaret McNamara. We then magically turned clementines into Jack-o-lanterns with black markers. What fun!

Owls were the theme of this week’s story hour. We read some books with owls in it and then made an owl craft. This week we finished with some playing outside before it gets too cold.

This week our story hour was all leaves. With all the new colors on the leaves around we thought it was perfect. We read Thr Leaf Thief by Alice Hemming, Fletcher and the Falling Leaves by Julia Rawlinson, and Leaves by David Ezra Stein. We decorated our felt board tree with beautiful leaves. Swing by

With this time of year the fall migration of the humming bird happens. We learned about humming birds this week in our Story Hour. Also we colored humming bird pictures. There is also a fun song to sing!
