This week Lea read Don’t Wake Up the Tiger by Britta Teckentrup; How to Give Your Cat a Bath by Nicola Winstanley; and Simon’s New Bed by Christian Trimmer. After the stories were read the children made cat portraits using chalk for the fur and paper shapes for ears, nose, and whiskers.

This week we read Bear Snores On by Karma Wilson, and Sshhhhh! Bears Sleeping by David Martin. After listening to the stories the children colored sleeping bear pictures and gave them a den.
