This week we had fun with two board books that ask the children to guess what is on the next page. We also looked at how the bulbs we planted last week. We colored pages of the plant growing process. The children also enjoyed scooping and pouring the small stones left over from planting the

This week we read The Snow Day by Ezra Jack Keats, Paperwhite by Nancy Elizabeth Wallace, and The Snow Bear by Miriam Moss. After the stories the children went outside and made snow angels. See you next Thursday at 10:30 for our next story hour.

We are closing today at noon due to the storm. We reopen tomorrow Friday February 28th at 2 pm.
This week Lea read Don’t Wake Up the Tiger by Britta Teckentrup; How to Give Your Cat a Bath by Nicola Winstanley; and Simon’s New Bed by Christian Trimmer. After the stories were read the children made cat portraits using chalk for the fur and paper shapes for ears, nose, and whiskers.
